Computer Literacy Project
Scope of the contract

The Director of Education, Delhi having its office at Old Secretariat, Delhi had invited a rate contract tender for leasing of Computer Hardware, Software and accessories and for provision of Computer Education Services in Govt. / Govt. Aided Sr. Sec. Schools in the National Capital Territory of Delhi and Educomp was selected as the Implementing Agency by the Director of Education to set up the computer labs and impart training on Computer Literacy in 28 Govt. Sr. Sec. schools spread across Delhi. Educomp entered into the agreement on 24th April 2002 and the agreement is valid till 31st March 2005.

Course Curriculum
The Classes VI to XII are covered under this project. They are taught the curriculum specified by the Directorate of Education, Govt. of Delhi. All the books for this project have been designed and developed by Educomp. In addition to classroom teaching students are also provided with hands-on session. Educomp conducts co-curricular activities to harness the talent of students and help them have all-round growth of their personalities.

Teacher Training
Each year Educomp will also train 4 teachers and 1 administrative staff in each school. Currently, the first batch of training is going on. The curriculum for this training (90 hrs duration) has been designed and developed by Educomp.
