GCPE (Gujarat Council of Primary Education)

The State Project Director, SSA Mission GCPE having its office at Gandhinagar, Gujarat intends to introduce Computer Based Education in 500 Elementary Schools. Educomp has been chosen as an implementing agency to implement the computer aided learning in 500 schools across 25 districts in the state of Gujarat.

The Project will be implemented covering the following stages:

Stage-I Each of these schools will be equipped with 5 computer systems, 5 UPS and a Printer. Educomp will be providing total 2500 computers, 2500 UPS and 500 Printers. Educomp will also deploy the Project Management Team comprising of Project Manager, Zonal Managers and Computer Assistants.

Stage-II Development of Multimedia Based Educational Content for classes V to VII based on Gujarat State Syllabus, using Gujarati as the medium of instruction in Science, Mathematics and English on identified 167 hard spots (topics).

Stage-III Training of teachers across the state to undertake technology aided learning and usage of Multimedia Based Educational Content in classroom. The training will be imparted in Gujarati language.

Stage- IV This Stage involves the overall monitoring and managing of the project for the contract period of 3 years.
