Infrastructure  

The uniqueness of the infrastructure lies in its design which evokes a feeling of greatness and vision. Another uniqueness of our design is the extensive use of local environmentally sustainable materials.

Our infrastructure follows the principle of community living. The school is shaped as a larger community within four boundary walls. For any member of the school the infrastructure gives a feel of walking into miniature township, which is independent and self contained. Every structure in the school is designed for learning. For example our little learners have a sensory room, which translates their content into tactile and sensorial experiences. Various structures such as the rock wall, sun dial, etc are part of the learning process in the ‘The Tangibles’ of the school. Our libraries are designed to inspire students to explore their dreams and our labs are among the best in the world. Every classroom in the school has the pathbreaking Smart_Class technological infrastructure to support it. Each of these class rooms are digitally empowered with computers and plasma screens for each child. Besides the Smart_Class support systems the interiors in each room are designed with a purpose and fulfills a certain need. Each room is further designed to link with the other structures and gives the feeling of space and the learner feels a part of nature. This design motivates the learners to have a sense of commitment and belonging by taking the entire responsibility of looking after this space.

They not only take care of it physically but govern the place / school through their own rules and regulations laid down by their own ‘mini parliament’. This imbibes in the learner a sense of civic responsibilities and governance. Besides these our walking project street allows students to display their work for the entire school to see.

Curriculum
We have formulated a systemic plan of action where we have created rich content, which is diverse in approach, flexible in methods and democratic in nature and above all keeps the child in focus. The content is fashioned in a manner that responds to the needs of the society. We have further ensured that each practice is interwoven and linked to each other and also with the larger community as a whole. Let us take a furtive look into each area.
