The day begins with some yoga activity. The Yoga for the day constitutes of some basic exercises which are as follows:
 
To begin each day……..

OBJECTIVE:
Warming up session is a platform to greet and invite the children into the fun- filled environs of the Pre-school. The objective behind the warming up session is to give the children a jump-start and get them ready for the daily routine.

GET SET GO:
Play some foot tapping music and get the children into the warming up mood. Before you start, assemble the children and line them together in rows.

Up and Down: Let the children put hands on their waist and move their body up and down along with the instructor. Repeat this for 4-5 times.

Jumping:

Follow this up with jumping in one position 4-5 times. To make it more interesting, vary the beats of the music and ask the children to jump following the rhythm of the music.

Clapping:

Let the children clap their hands. Start with clapping only once. Then move on and clap twice. Alternate the claps for example, clap once then clap twice, repeat this 3-4 times. The children must coordinate along with the instructor.
